REPOST from 2022."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Wintermas started tonight with an evening hike through dusk and dark during the longest night of the year. We transcended the Winter solstice with deep crisp breaths, shades in the forest under a clouded sky, and waving shadows of dried grasses and wildflowers in the fields. We toasted the beauty of the season with hot borscht and black currant cordial against a snow covered fallen tree.
